Description
The aim of this class is to assist you in becoming a socially conscious sign language interpreter. You will be encouraged to explore your thoughts, language ideology, and social justice. A brief overview of a historical and linguistic study on Black ASL and the social context of black deaf consumers and black sign language interpreters.
